Took my mini van to the Aamco in Longwood,Florida run by a guy name Kip. Paid almost $3400 for a transmission rebuild and replace my AC compressor and other related parts. I picked up my van after 3 days,paid the money and drove to Kissimmee,Florida about 20 miles away only to discover that the transmission wasn’t running right. Called them and I got a whole lecture from some guy name Mark and his boss Skip about having a Chrysler tech work on my 1997 town and country and that there was nothing wrong.To make a long story short,I only got the transmission repaired after the very same problem happened again(no 3rd and 4th gear) and calling the head office about my problem.I went to that place at least 6 times in one month before I could finally drive my van again.
Guess what,remember they repaired my ac also,well now I can hear the engine noise through the ac vents.
AAMCO is the biggest SCAM in the world, don’t be fooled by their adds claiming they are the transmission experts.STAY AWAY FROM AAMCO.
