I went to Aamco,La Puente,Ca.to have a small leak in the trans fixed. The cost not to be more than $250.The final cost was $15,000. & my dually is leaking worse than it did & the 454 eng. is knocking loud & smoking.The eng.was running great when I took it in.
I pd. the full price & then the mgr.said we’d have to sign a paper releasing them from all damages.While this is taking place Aamco fired the mgr.(actually moved him to another store)& the first mechanic was fired.
Aamco held my truck for 3 days,then phoned me & said I had better come & get my truck or they’d bill me $50 a day storage.They still asked me to sign the paper when I arrived,again.I didn’t & my truck wouldn’t start.Dead battery.The truck isn’t driveable & they are claiming it arrived in that condition.Aamco had my truck for 2 weeks.They kept saying they’d fix it.They have lied abt. many things & my horror story
hasn’t ended.Aamco La Puente,Ca.went out of bussiness the 2 days after this scam.We’re going to court!
