Jazz J – Stick With Them?
My car broke down in front of this AAMCO in East Point, GA and so I had them repair it. They quoted $600 but told me the master and slave cylinders of my car needed repair. After opening the transmission, they then said the clutch needed repair. Total $1300. I saved this up and finally went to pickup the vehicle – they said they had test driven it twice and it was working fine. Got in the car and the car was in the same condition as before not shifting into any gears and getting stuck. I found this amazing. I rode with one of their techs driving and he agreed that there is no-way anyone could have test driven this car and not found this problem. New diagnosis (600 more dollars for labor and then whatever the part will cost). Im not sure if I should stick with them. I KNOW Im being ripped off. For this money I could have bought another used car and the price has trippled from the initial quote.
