I believe that the Amoco located on San Jose Blvd in Jacksonville, FL (the Mandarin area) took $1500.00 from us to jury-rig our transmission to work temporarily for short distances. The transmission obviously was not replaced in any way. If the car is driven on the interstate it heats up and will not shift, just like it did when we put in in for repair.
